I have a couple questions about leading edge tape. The leading edge tape on
my IV is looking rather dingy and I'd like to replace it.

What is the best process to remove the tape without damaging the paint?

Should I put new tape on? I've heard conflicting theories about speed loss
vs. protecting the edge. Do rain and bugs do so much damage that simply
touching the paint up once a year won't handle the problem?

Thanks in advance for your input.
