Bob I have owned one for about 3 years and it is a good investment. It does have a small problem with one of my transponders (KT 76) of showing lights with no traffic but 80% of the time it is correct. I find with a KT 70 (Mode S) transponder and it works beautifully with it and is a great heads up. I have flown with full TCAS, TCAD, the ATD-200 and nothing. Considering that the TCAS and the TCAD both are multiples of $10,000 you get a great amount of value for very little money with the ATD-200 and anyone that has flown over 1000 hours can tell you about nothing. I have had 5 very close nearmisses in my career. Plus consider that the airplane that you are going to hit does not move on the windshield!! (or behind the windshield post) It is worth much more that the price tag that Jose Monroy charges.
