(Came up with a neat little tool for locating and marking the trim line, e-mail me if you want a photo). So far I have only cut it once, at the rollover, as shown on page 9-11 at B4. I also bent the forward edge of the stiffener down about 1/4 inch with a heat gun to get it to conform. Now my dilemma, if the stiffener is pulled forward and maximum contact with the 1/8" spacers is made, all the way around, it takes many clamps to pull it down. This leaves a gap of about 3/8" at the rollover cut. I believe at least two more cuts at the alignment plates will be required to get it to "Naturally rest on the 1/8" spacers". Or, if I let the stiffener slide back about 3/8" from the forward spacers, it just might "naturally rest" on the other spacers after the rollover cut is (cleaned with M/C) and glassed. At worst, maybe one more cut at the alignment plate area on the left side. I have a call in to Mark Mahnke, how about you Legacy guys who have completed your canopy. What do you think?
