At 190 KIAS the windscreen will probably not withstand a direct birdstrike of
anything larger than a sparrow. A duck or goose will surely go right on
through the windshield and probably only slow down a little for the aft
pressure bulkhead. Best defense when flying down low is to have all you
lights on, be heads up and if you spot one in your path... climb.. because
the bird will dive.
