I was running 2600 rpm because it's my understanding a new engine should be
run fast until the oil consumption stabilizes.
The 13.7 was just my recollection. I know I have seen burns in the 12s but
find it hard to believe what I'm seeing. I flight plan a C182 at 12.5gph
(ROP). Can I be going this much faster behind a bigger engine on the same
fuel !
Now how far could Erik really go on that 300 gals?
