Use an Acid Cleaning and Etching liquid (Dupont's Alumiprep) until rinse
water does not bead.    Then apply Alodine Conversion Coating, rinse and
prime when dry or keep clean.  Use rubber gloves and a Fine Grit Scotchbrite
Pad.
