Thanks for the advice. It is well-taken. I will buy some reagent grade
methylene chloride and use it -- even if it is a chlorinated hydrocarbon --
when I am bonding glass with epoxy. I will not not use acetone or MEK,
except maybe the latter in an emergency. I am not a chemist and will defer
to the chemist in authority here.
