If you agent says that he can't figure a way to get the parts covered then you need a new agent. Every few years I go insurance shopping to sure I am getting a good deal on the right coverage. Unlike life insurance, there is little incentive to let your property insurance policy age like fine Cognac. "Yes Mr. XYZ insurance agent, I would be happy to change my homeowners coverage to your company. I have a collection of airplane parts that need to be covered. That won't be a problem, will it?"
