I read with interest the recent e mail from Walter Dodson regarding the Two Axis Trim indicator.  I do not concur with his views.          I have 160 hours of flying on my Lancair built panel with the SFS, Garmin  430, TruTrak and the Two Axis Trim Indicator.  This includes 35 hours of  night and 90 hours of IFR.  The brightness of the display is perfect for both bright daylight and  night flying.
The indicator precisely depicts the position of the rudder and elevator. The ease of scan prior to take off and during landing approach reduce  the workload in the cockpit and enhances the safety of the Lancair Avionics  package. "I am totally happy with the quality of the Lancair Avionics built panel and the superb after delivery support."
If anyone would like to discuss their panel with me, feel free to call.
