Regarding Larry Hennery's post about hydro fluid eating Zolotone paint, if
you have that much hydro fluid spraying around your wheel wells, you've got
bigger problems than the type of paint you used in there.

I used Zolotone in my cockhouse and occasionally spilled a bit when topping
off my brakes. I have never seen a deterioration of the paint if wiped up in
a reasonable amount of time. Not to say that it won't mess up the Zolotone
if allowed to sit on it for a long time, but that's true of a lot of popular
finishes.

I used Zolotone in my entire cockpit to save weight --- and a light Lancair
is beautiful to behold in flight! I regularly fly formation with a friend
with a Falco running a hopped up 180 HP injected 320 (I follow a Lyc O-235
around making about 120 HP at SL) and he regularly has to tell me to back
off the throttle so he can catch up! Lancairs rule!

Bottom line: light is good, Zolotone helps you keep it light.
