An idea for rear window exit is: glassing them in with unidirectional glass.
If you left a ring big enough for two or three fingers at the end of the
strand I would think you could peel the uni retaining the window like opening
a coffee can. A knob or handle attached to the plexiglass would then
allow removal of the window.
