I went up to 3,500 ft and flew the plane around at 78 KIAS to to get used to the slow speed handling.
My last 8 landings have been at 83 to 87 KIAS, 500 ft/min decent and stabilized. I have not pulled the power to hit the end of the runway. The landings have been the best that I have make in the 400 hours that I have in the plane and the shortest. On one of the landings I turned off at the 1,200 ft marker.
I think that I finally have it. 1) stabilized approach 2) below 90 KIAS. Seems pretty simple but it has taken me 400 hours to get it right.
Wish me luck on the next 10.
