BUT... and here was the whole reason to my post, I suspect there is something more going on here. 1) Does the Nonin accurately report SaO2 at altitude ?It was calibrated at sea level or lower altitudes. 2) Is something else going on so that this rather large group of folks who are flying around with 78 to 83% SaO2 are still alive to tell about it?
