I'm not sure I see the full meaning of all that's reported by Jim. Please comment on a venting system where one NACA vent is placed in the belly skin under the cockpit. Two vent lines emerge from a static pressure chamber which is an integral part of the NACA duct. One line to a stand pipe top, and the other to the fuel bay at the wing root only. No other vents would be installed anywhere. To prevent siphoning fuel both of these lines would be installed so the highest point would be higher than the highest fuel level, or a check valve. Please comment ... anyone and all.
