I've been miced once or twice. They didn't eat the glass (wimps) they just
poop all over it! (I didn't check the poop for micro/flox) Re carbon:
there's so little carbon cloth that I just keep it in the thick plastic bag
it came in. Never had a problem.
FWIW, I made my cutting table with a cover to keep the dust off of the
rolled out glass. Just some thin paneling on a piano hinge and side
supports. Unfortunately, the rear, where the bolt of glass is, is open to
the back. Now what I need to do is staple some thin paneling across the
back to keep the buggers out.
I strongly recommend some dust cutting method for your cutting table. You
want that stuff clean and ready to go.
