Pacific Coast Avionics (http://www.pacific-coast-avionics.com/) and Gulf
Coast Avionics (http://www.gulf-coast-avionics.com/) APPEAR to be the same
people (at some level). For some time I was trying to decide which would be
the best way to go... do the panel myself, or buy a custom made panel. I
have found out more recently that both will do intermediate steps. For
example, you can have them pre-wire the avionics harness. At AirVenture I
was scrutinizing the back of one of their sample panels. The guy there that
started talking to me invited me behind the display table once I told him
what I was doing so I could get a better look. That is when he told me that
there were options between doing it completely myself and getting a fully
completed custom panel. He was most helpful, and I found that option very
interesting. A rep at the AeroTronics (http://www.AeroTronics.com/) booth
did the same thing and told me about the same options.
