Hi guys,

Just a quick note of warning... if you receive an email from the Lancair factory (someone@lancair.com in the from box) please do not open any attachments that come through.  An infected post was submitted to the LML last night with Ross's email address, and another strange looking post came in from Vern this morning, although Vern's msg didn't set off any virus alarms on my system.  I spoke with Vern and he knew nothing about the post, so I simply deleted the attachments and assumed that this might be a new virus that even Norton isn't recognizing yet.  My virus definitions are right up to date, having run the LiveUpdate routine this morning before re-scanning my entire system.  I'm sure the folks at Lancair will do everything they can to disinfect their system, but in the meantime please be very suspect of any messages you receive from them.  Just a note of warning as I suspect that most of you are included in an addressbook on at least one or more of the computers on the Lancair factory network.  Be careful out there and have a great weekend.
