If I had to do it over again I would leave it out or maybe use it as floorboard lighting. john wright-ivp<< John, You might experiment with some resistors in series with the output leads between the power supply and the light unit. Try some high values between 1 MEG and 10 MEG Ohm. If you can find the right value it will reduce the current to the light unit and should effectively dim the display to the brightness you require. The current for this type of light is very low so you may have to series up some resistors to perhaps 20 - 30 MEG range to make the current even lower. Radio Shack would be a source for resistors or try Digi-Key or Mouser Electronics. Once the correct value is achieved, then replace this value with sturdy 2 or 5 watt units. Be sure to insulate these resistors as the voltage from the power supply (inverter) may be as high as 150 volts. Regards, D.C.
