I replaced my Outback gear door which had blown off and plane is in perfect condition again. I think I may have told you that we traced the problem to an A&P mistakenly turning in the pressure set screw that controlled when the hydraulics cut off...which left the inner gear door partially down in flight, which in turn allowed air pressure to build up inside gear well and blow off the larger outer gear door. His mistake cost me about two grand, but such is life.
