There has been a lot of discussion lately among Glasair owners about hydraulic
pressure on the low side (gear down), bleeding off to very low or zero psi
levels when the plane sits idle for a week or more. Is this something we
should be concerned about?

The hydraulic system on my 320 seems to maintain the 500 psi
down-lock pressure for quite a while. Only occasionally, after its
sat for at least several days, does the pump run for a short burst
to reestablish the full down-lock pressure when first turned on.
In any event, the springs easily hold the overcenter link in the
down-locked position, so I can't see any reason for concern.
