Add to Scott's list of neat things to do, the following:

A couple of short trips per week to an airport greasy spoon for the
traditional "$100 hamburger" for only $30! (these things get good mileage).

Getting cleared through the LAX Class B on one of the high routes and
getting the clearance to descend for a local airport at "Pilot's
Discretion", and casually asking ATC for a speed check. Hearing something
like "....Uhh, November 235 Sierra Papa, I have you at 203 knots......Ahhh,
what IS that thing???

Flying formation with a guy with a 180 HP Falco (I have an early 235 with an
O-235 up front) and have him tell you that he's full throttle and just
keeping up.

Go somewhere with a group of guys flying spam cans and be in the FBO's
lounge having coffee when they arrive.

And more.
