Building 3 airplanes at once as a team should really help move things
along.  I know when I was helping with Jeff Darragh's IV-P down in Naples,
while it was only a single airplane the winge fixtures were setup TE to TE
and allowed us to work on both wings at the same time.  Things really did
go much quicker.

We thought about doing the guides all at once with the single long tube as
you suggest but thought better of it so we could properly work the area
around each guide.  This way each guide hole became its own little
mini-project and could be dealt with without affecting the micro on any
other guide.  Additionally the idea of breaking loose all of those bonds at
once didn't sound too appealing, as it was obvious it was going to take a
bit of doing to get the tubes out of the holes... much easier to fight with
a single 6" long piece of tube and a single micro application than a 10'
long piece and 6 applications at once.  As it turned out it was, in fact,
much wiser to do them individually as the removal was every bit as tough as
we suspected it would be.

PS... Jeff Darragh decided to yield to the insurance problem and sold his
project about a month ago.  I guess there's a new builder in TX somewhere
who decided to purchase his completed components (both wings and the
horizontal tail) and move forward with the rest of the project himself.
Looks like my IV-building days have ground to a halt.
