I'd like to powder coat some of the landing gear parts and some
other metal bits & pieces in my LNC2.  To do this the coating has to be
baked at 400 degrees F. for 20 minutes.  If I do this will that change the
strength properties of the aluminum parts?

The grade, temper and the cold working of the part can all play a factor in
annealing, warping and corrosion fritting of your aluminum parts at
temperature. You may want to avoid 400° if you can. How about anodizing?
