Hi, Rusty.....I also purchased my intake manifold and throttlebody from Atkins. I spent the $2700.00 and bought the whole "bolt on" fuel and ignition package.
I, too am considering the turbo.  I thought that I might buy Paul Lamar's new manifold and pipe bends, and have that welded to a plate on which I could mount my Atkins throttlebody and injectors, as that would place it on the cold side of the engine. Atkins also sells a one piece wrap-over manifold that would replace the straight manifold, which would put his throttlebody above the engine. Unfortunately, I don't have sufficient cowling space above the engine for that. (I also have to move the alternator to the side for the same reason).         If you come up with any additional ideas, I sure would like to hear them. Possibly between the two of us, we might come up with a good solution.
I am installing my 13B in a canard pusher, called the SQ2000. www.klscomposites.com
