Whew!  David, you really keep track of a thread, don't you.  I don't think I
can answer any of your questions until I get the harness and coils.  I
figured I would cut off the connector going to the engine and simply hook up
some connectors that would permit me to unplug the Mazda coils and plug in
the LS1 coils.  You need one more wire running to the LS1 harness than to
the two Mazda coils that will have to come from pin2 of the EC2 - so make
certain you wire that pin regardless of whether you think you will stick
with the Mazda coils.  Going back and trying to solder that small pin laying
on your back under your instrument panel is only for the very young {:>)
