Also, get a 6mm x 1mm = bottoming tap and finish tapping all the oil pan holes to bottom for more thread engagement. I may be getting = one of the aluminum pans from Fred at Conversion Concepts, and those will come = with the bolts, so this may not even be an issue. =20 Of course I have a bigger problem at the moment. My engine came with = the first gen RX-7 front cover, and I didn't see any reason to change it. = Well, now I do. The old cover is wider than the normal 2nd gen cover, so it doesn't fit the bolt pattern of the Conversion Concepts mounting plate.
