Tony,
Yes, this is the site. Thanks….Looks
like it has had some info added since I last visited. It is a start. Nice to
see it is continuing to develop.
Dale,
Maybe “best practice” is too
strong of a term. But, I just started thinking after reading the threads on
fuel supply piping, that this info needs to be collected in a central document
for reference as we build our various planes. Another topic recently is the
threads on proper attachment of cooling hoses. Collections of “what didn’t
work” could also be valuable.
Just a thought,
Dean

I think it is a super, great, excellent
idea.
I would love to be able to see "Best
Practices" , "Tried and Didn't Work", "New Ideas for
Comments", etc. I am not exactly the engineering type, but I can put
togather whatever I can take apart...
Now, after and apart from my enthusiasm, I
can't be of any assistence in Web Page Stuff.
But, I would be willing to go through my
files from the rotary sites (the ones I kept anyway) and provide the
emails to someone who would be a web host. (And, I know Tracy Cooks Email
address).
BTW, are you in Brooksville, FL?
I live in Lakeland,
I would be willing to talk at length about the little I know - I've gotta know
something after reading through all this for years...

Group,
Awhile back I had posted on the “other” group
about collecting all the assembly/design techniques, lessons learned and
related info and links in one web site. Sort of a “best practice”
and reference document. Someone responded and stated such was in existence. I
visited once, not much info. I have since lost touch with the site that was started
(don’t know if it still exists), but, I think it would be a great
reference. Paul’s site has a lot of great links to info but I was
thinking more along the lines of now proven methods and practices”.
Breaking down the document into fuel, cooling, mounting,
exhaust……would be real helpful. It appears that much of the info is
in the discussions here, just needs to be collected. Thoughts? Interest?
