More pix of the Cosmo & REW housings. The pic on the blue base shows the
various housings side by side from the inlet port perspective. The bigger
ports are for the Cosmo 20B, the smaller ones are the REW. The runners on
the 20B are tapered, and the floor is lower, hence giving the (false)
appearance that the ports are bigger.. The actual inlet port sizes on the
side faces are the same.
The Cosmo (both 13B & 20B) have an extra bolt lug at the top where the
cut-out is on the REW manual motor. I have never seen an AUTO REW engine in
the Land of Oz, but from what I've been told (by people on this
newsletter), they DO exist in the USA, and they are very similar to the
Cosmo end housing with the side starter. This side mounted starter lay-out
is continued in the auto (low power 4 port) Renesis engine.
