While I didn't foresee the success of the 2.85 redrive, I did want to keep
my options open, so I built the VS with zero offset and the engine mount as
well with zero offset and just use shims to offset the mount. This has
worked exceptionally well, so I don't expect that there would be much
difficulty in switching to the 2.85 if that turns out to be the combination
of choice for my needs. The question(s) that remain are, first how much $$$
to switch over? Second is, how will this perform for cruise economy? Third
is, I already can outclimb any Lycosaurus at our field with using the turbo,
what's next?

S. Todd Bartrim    (probably shouldn't be making these claims while under
the influence of barley :-) (no.... I wouldn't be the drunken guy snoring at
sun-n-fun, I 'd be the drunken guy hitting on the gorgeous red-haired fiddle
player :-)
