Hayes Rotary just finished my 6 port 13B specifically for aircraft use. All the good stuff was used, I spec'd the three things I wanted from the engine, reliability, reliability and reliability. 3 mm ceramic apex seals teflon O-rings dynamic balanced rotors and eshaft ( <.25 grams) micro polished eshaft ceramic coated rotor faces Cermachromed rotor housings (look polished) Stage I porting (mild street porting, good for 180 to 190 HP) 12A front cover (mounting bosses) oil jets in rotors modified for continuous oiling HiPerf corner seals Trailing plugs machined to full size (same as leading plugs) In addition I have 3 Barry mounts (22002 purple dot), two auto trans flex plates (one already drilled for a Ross type damper), Stock Mazda starter, Racing Beat remote oil filter plate (pt # 11802), Racing Beat HiPerf aluminum eshaft pulley, 2 Mazda coils (NIB, pt #8245-18-100) Westach Oil Temp gauge, Oil Pressure Gauge, Water Temp gauge, Ammeter, and 2 Tachometers (0 -3500 and 0-8000 RPM), CAS and distributor (just in case you're a carb person), Mazda air pump, Mitsubishi alternator, brackets for the last two items, a custom mount for the 12A front cover (Home made, but I'm a machinist), some 4130 plate washers (.188" for the engine mounts, and Haynes, Chilton and Mazda Shop Manuals. Sell all for what I paid for the engine, $3100 plus shipping. WA residents will have to pay sales tax (your government at work for you). If you want to jump start your project with an engine built by folks with over 25 years of experience, this is the way to go.
