As I recall, in 2014 or 15 (maybe earlier) there were two RV-8's from
California with Powersport Mazda conversions at Oshkosh that were done up
as warbirds (P-40 and P51). Very nice looking and flying airplanes that
were built in parallel with one another. Later I heard that one of them
crashed in CA due to an electrical problem.
