Some Hartzell constant speed props only have counterbores for 4 out of the 6 bushings. Perhaps Bobby can tell you whether the MT props do the same thing. It = would be a good idea to verify the bushing outside diameter for that partic= ular model, and also verify whether all 6 bushings can remain in place. Som= e Hartzell constant speed props only have counterbores for 4 out of the 6 b= ushings. Perhaps Bobby can tell you whether the MT props do the same thing.= For an example, see this link:

Thanks Charlie

I=E2=80=99m interested in a MTV-7-C 183-51 and wondered if it would fit the= RD1-C flange.
My main reason is to increase the diameter out to 72inch to get increased p= rop tip speed.
When I ordered the RD1C all these years ago I didn=E2=80=99t understand tha= t Tracy only recommended the C version for larger props.

The MT documentation suggests that a C version has SAE No. 2 mod. bolts 7/1= 6"-20 UNF
So sounds like you think it could fit with a change to the bushings.

Thanks

Steve
