Dear Finn,
Sensor at 6:00 0’clock is primary. Sensor at 3 o’clock is backup.
If you cannot locate appropriate software, I can reconfigure the sensor physical locations if necessary.

Thanks Bobby
In some of the manuals I've see 90 degrees before the primary, but in the code I looked at I think it mentioned 180 degrees.
So, I'll have to look further. It sure will be interesting to find out how it determines if primary sensor has failed. Wonder what happens when backup sensor fails and primary is OK. With no other inputs, I don't see how it can work.

Finn,
Both processors see both signals on pins 36&37. I think the second sensor must be mounted 180 degrees opposite the main.

Does anyone have an RWS EC running with backup sensor?
Yesterday I briefly looked at the EC code (program) and it appears that
when you have a backup sensor controller A uses main sensor and
controller B uses the backup sensor; is that correct?
Or is there some automatic detection of main sensor failure that causes
a switch-over to the backup sensor for both A and B, that I missed?
