Can anyone tell m,e the exact metal used in the stock exhaust manifold?  I have cut one in half to reverse the direction and it appears to be S/S outer with inconel inserts.   It will help to know before I weld back together with the correct rod.  As shown the weight is now approx 10 lbs and I am impressed with the build of the manifold, --- much better than my version, and will be not much heavier.

Were you able to preserve the iconel(?) stubs and slip joints where the 3 ports exit the cast plate? I'd bet the slip joints are essential to the system working correctly and surviving.

Looks like you found the one at the exit bend. :-)

I tried to use the flywheel end exit to advantage on mine; my pipe goes down/aft to an Aeroturbine muffler I managed to keep within the cowl. Not yet flying, so can't comment on reliability/success.
