I thought to ease the job of the small motor by = putting some bearing grease I had at the hangar on the tubes and inside = the rail where parts slide. Well, the thick grease made pulling the = tubes away from one another like pulling a boot out of a mud hole. Once = I got the manifold home and cleaned the grease off, the mechanism = functioned well again. =20 So I am going to brace the rail better so that torque and pulling = doesn't pull it out of alignment and have the tubes nickel plated and = put it back on the aircraft, which should make Finn happy {:>) I eventually must replace that boat anchor of a lower manifold, so = I'll place my order for the IDA manifold this week so I have it by Sun & = Fun.
