-3 aluminum lines are .187 OD... the 4mm plastic should be about .157, or

1/32" smaller.  Some custom fittings would probably allow use of the aluminum.

It’s not clear that aluminum would be that much of an improvement.  A jet of hot exhaust would melt that also; and aluminum does burn if it gets hot enough.  If you are going to go through the trouble to change them – go steel.
