The ole timers here always used a product called water glass, available from the Drug Store. I wouldn't want to put in more than a 1/2 teaspoon in the coolant to start with, as this stuff can be really nasty if you get to much in. I have seen it seal 6 inch cracks in iron blocks. One fellow I worked with dumped a pint in his old ford tractor, ( a little is good, a lot is better theory) needless to say he had to replace the water pump, as it set up. They are coming from a weld on the water pump housing. Please tell me someone knows a good way to seal such leaks. A re-weld would probably require removing the entire engine :< I also made the first attempted start today. Turns out I have no spark... Guess I won`t be the first to go down that road. I connected the signal from the CAS in parallel with the engine monitor. That connection will be the first to go.
