I considered it Finn, but while I think Richard's component is a neat idea,
I couldn't convince myself that I needed one for the following reasons:

1.  Reliability (no reflection on the reliability of Richard's pump - but
the plastic  oil lines can become brittle and leak)
2.  Little room for any sizable oil container on my firewall
3.  Probably having to remove cowl to fill/service oil tank (although I am
certain I could figure a way around this)
4.  More weight and complexity (not much true, but a bit)
5.  Forgetting to fill the oil tank (yes, could forget to mix oil, but
haven't yet)
6.  Not certain of effects (if any) of the "Plugs Up" orientation

On the other hand the convenience of not having to haul my oil around in 18
oz containers in the baggage compartment nor having to mess around with it
when refueling would be nice.  Also since the metering pump apparently
meters relative to rpm and throttle position you might have more optimum
lubrication (use less 2 cycle oil).  So certainly not against the idea, just
no real reason to implement it at this stage.
