Glad to be able to answer your question, Finn, this is what this list is good for, pointing out things that may get overlooked ( there are a lot of RV people out there that don't know that there was ever a problem with the RV-3,4 mounts for instance). Fred(thanking Rusty for the website plug)

Rusty's mount is just a smaller version of this design. It addresses all the issues with the original mount with the addition of another mount point, two diagonal braces, and two shorter tubes welded to the gear sockets to solve the tortional socket twist problems.
