Well, Max is set to fly the Atlantic back to Austria here in a = couple of weeks in his rotary powered bird - if all goes as planned. = He has a 13B with Tracy=E2=80=99s EC2 (early, early version), redrive = and my EFISM fuel management system. I am not certain, but I think this = will be a first for a rotary powered aircraft. He has carefully planned the trip and done a lot of test flight to = accurate calibrate for fuel burn and distance (carrying aux fuel tank in = cockpit), changed his oil and carefully look it over for metal, spark = plugs, etc. So, he called me today to let me know that weather = permitting he would probably start his trip over Labor day week end.=20 I know you will all join me in wishing Max a safe and speedy trip.
