Built a bracket to mount it 90 deg from Renesis main CAS mount. Sorry I = don=E2=80=99t have a photo. Tracy=E2=80=99s code incorporates it in the EC2. I mean there is at = least a declaration in the code =E2=80=9CBUSENSOR", but I haven=E2=80=99t = checked the code to see if it was functional, just thought it was. I suppose I have always wondered about failure modes of the CAS. Of all = failure modes I think the CAS is very low risk. I thought the weak link = was the vulnerability of the wire feed itself to a broken belt etc. So Ive wondered about the point of a backup. Maybe just armour plate the = signal from the one CAS. We had a Glasair III go down here in Perth - full electronic ignition on = Lyc that was taken out by a belt breaking. He lost his engine, managed = to put it down on a school oval but got terribly burnt.
