Glad to see someone like the Conversion Concepts engine mount
(www.conversionconcepts.com) since it is the same one I have for my
Velocity. I too understood it is based on the Franklin mount, I think the
one that Velocity sells. The infamous "Paul Lamar" hates it. I have spoken
to Fred Breeze the owner of Conversion Concepts and he seems like a
thoughtful, conscientious man. Since I have never learned to weld (hanging
my head in disappointment and shame at that fact) I was thrilled to find a
ready made solution for a mount. And, I still intend to learn how to weld
<g>. FWIW.
Paul, I have been closely monitoring your progress since our installations
seem so similar.
All the best,
Chris
