I was trying to use an aluminum fitting because = the casting is aluminum, and the female AN swivel hose fitting is aluminum, = so I was trying to avoid using dissimilar metals to prevent corrosion, etc. = Paul Conner =20 From going through all this with the RV-8, it's my understanding that = small fittings, say AN-6 and smaller should be steel if they attach to a hose = with relative motion. Larger fittings from AN-8 and up can remain aluminum, since they're pretty beefy.
