Oh, yea of little faith.  You will need to burp the engine a couple/three times to get all the air out of the cores.  But, by all means if your welding skills with very thin wall and brazed (lower melting temp than aluminum) aluminum cores are up to the task then bleeds will eliminate the need to do the burping runs.  Good luck {:>).

Ha!   I laugh at thin, brazed aluminum cores, hahaha!  I managed to weld 10 fittings on 5 cores with no problems at all, so I'll probably add the bleed fittings to make filling easier.

Great, then I know where to send my next cores (if ever) to have the fittings welded on.  I went through 8 cores and three welders before I ended up with two good cores.
