If you can take that loose fitting to a machine shop and have them turn you
a new item on a lathe that will be a "press" or "shrink" fit, then cool that
thing with dry ice and tap it in the hole before it warms up.

Not knowing exactly what your hose barb is made of -its hard to advise.
However, here is a make shift fix assuming its the coolant tube which
sticks
out of the block a couple of inches....
It's steel and it's supposed to be a tight fit in the top of the block.
Its
fairly easy to move. The problem is keeping it from coming out of the
block,
not keeping the hose attached.
