Well, although I am in Montana, my plane is still in Illinois. I am
planning on returning in late September and bringing it out.
Have joined a local EAA chapter, and attended the “Mountain Madness”
airshow in Kalispell, MT on Labor day weekend and saw the Air Force
Thunderbirds.

Hi Bill,
It's probably that the Interweb tubes
haven't reached the Dental Floss Territories yet. ;-)
Seriously, I
agree that things are just too quiet around here. I haven't posted
anything because I haven't been able to actually do anything for the last couple
of weeks (family distractions). How about a report on flying in big
skies?

I have seen no traffic since this message on the 24th, and am wondering
if the server has a problem with gmail accounts.

Just to let everybody on the list
know, the air museum at Drake Field (KFYV) is hosting a breakfast and lunch
flyin at the museum the second saturday of the month. I went this month and
plan to be there in September too. Free admission to the museum. If you are
looking for somewhere to fly on the weekend this is worth the trip. Museum is
on the west side, mid field. The museum has some neat, rare, old airplanes
including the black Stinson in the picture. There is a replica of Mr.
Mulligan, and a Travel Air Mystery Ship.
In order to quell any rumors that
may be swirling about, also featured is my new ride, the shiny red
biplane.
