Coolant I took the thermostat out. Now the water circulates fine and I have good cooling. Even the cabin heater works :). Does the third gen have a recirculation hole? My theromstat housing just has space for the thermostat. No other holes. Oil I took off the oil feed to the turbo and cranked - lots of oil came out :) The oil coolers, pipes and filter are getting warm. The turbo wasnt damaged as far as I can tell, and I don't think there's a problem with oil circulation. So... now I can run the engine as long as I like, but it needs a lot of tuning. Starts well when cold, but seems rich when warmed up. I read the EC2 manual. Anyone have any additional tips on how to go about the programming steps? John Slade (waking the seniors from their naps)
