So after much difficulty to get the pulley bolt off, I have finally torn apart the engine.

Some looks usable some doesn't. Next step will be to take it the AutoSkills shop to use the parts washer and really get everything clean.

I plan to store the parts for a bit. Plan was to coat everything with oil, wrap them in oil soaked rags, and cover with Saran Wrap. Then put the parts in Rubbermaid bins.

Thoughts? Is there a specific oil I should use? Or am I better to finish the overhaul and store it as a complete block?
