We made a decision way back to mount the oil cooler hard to the redrive = being fed from the left cheek. This was made on the basis of a belief that the rotary runs very smooth. We recently built up the diffuser for it, trying to allow for some = movement but I have significant concerns. If we are going to shift it, now is the time! I remember Mark S commenting on having mounted to the redrive (with some = form of rubber isolation) then redesigned of the engine. Key concerns are: 1. Vibration breaking one of the many joints in the cooler and = subsequent high pressure oil flow and possible fire. 2. Seal between diffuser and core. Thanks Steve Izett Glasair SIIRG with Renesis=
