That about covers it. On a single turbo, one TB would go together
with greater ease. If the throttle seems to have a dead spot at top RPM, as in
more throttle does not improve power, then the TB is too big. Rig the TB to open
just a bit past what appears to be wide open. In many cases this allows for a
range of directed flow that often produces more than just wide open. A bigger TB
can be added later if required. A nice air horn with re-entrant bell
shape
flows like magic. An air filter........always.

For a point of reference, I'm running three 46mm TB's on my
n/a p-port 3-rotor, and they are working great. This is my third
intake, second for the p-port engine. This is installed in a Lancair ES,
so it probably has more room under the cowl that you have. If your
engine isn't peripheral-ported, then you're probably better off with a single
TB.
